Have you jumped on the Green Smoothie trend yet? Don’t let the color (or veggies) scare you – it is delicious! And the best part is, you can really make it however you want to fit your own taste! Here is the recipe for how I make mine:
Healthy Green Smoothie
Ingredients
- 2 handfuls of Spinach
- 2 handfuls of Kale
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
- 1/2 a Green Apple (cubed)
- Coconut Water (use according to texture)
Directions
- Combine Spinach, Kale, & Coconut Water and blend together. (If you like a thick smoothie, use less Coconut Water and vise versa for a thin smoothie).
- Add fruit and blend again.
*BONUS: Add any other fruit or veggies you like such as strawberries, blueberries, celery, cucumber, etc. You can also throw in Chia seeds or Flax seeds for extra benefits 🙂

Can you taste the coconut water flavor?? I am not a huge fan coconut water (but I know it’s good for you) and would love to not taste it!! 🙂

I make one with kale or mixed greens, bananas, water (or c. water), dates, apple, and sometimes another frozen fruit. Typically, I juice and rather not weigh in on the juice vs. smoothie wars. 🙂 But I prefer to do the both / and.
Oh no spinach…Can i add apples or somthing else except spinach?
